Stojko Ivan

Date of birth: 27.04.1961

Place of birth. Education. Born in the village of Schisnomir in the Butschatscher district of Ternopil Oblast. After school, he attended vocational school in Prosiauki (Chernivtsi region). In 1993, he graduated from the State Syktyvkar University (Department of History). In 2008, he graduated from the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.

Career. 1979 - assistant excavator driver at Butschatscher PMK-153.

1982-1987 (after military service) - employee of the forestry administration of the Prijuschk district of the Komi ASSR.

1993-1997 - trading director of the company Synchroimpuls (Drohobych).

1997-2000 - dean of the faculty, head of the educational department at the Ternopil Institute of Commerce.

2000-2001 - head of the regional affairs department of the Ternopil regional organization of the People's Movement of Ukraine.

2001-2002 - deputy head of the press and information department of the Ternopil regional state administration.

2002-2005 - member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IV convocation (district No. 166, Ternopil Oblast) member of the faction of Viktor Yushchenko's block 'Our Ukraine'. Member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on press freedom.

From April 2005 to October 2007 - head of the Ternopil regional state administration. Since 2006, he has been a deputy of the Ternopil Regional Council.

2007-2012 - member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VI convocation from the block 'Our Ukraine - National Self-Defense' (No. 46 on the electoral list) member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on national security and defense, chairman of the subcommittee on information security.

Member of the political council of the party 'For Ukraine!' (led by Vyacheslav Kirilenko).

From December 2012 to November 2014 - member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the VII convocation, nominated by Batkivshchyna in single-mandate electoral district No. 167 in Ternopil Oblast. Member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on national security and defense. Nonpartisan.

In the extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada held on October 26, 2014, he was nominated by the People's Front party in the same electoral district No. 167 in Ternopil Oblast, but was not elected and only placed 3rd in the results of the public vote in the district.

Since July 4, 2016, he has been an advisor to the Ministerial official of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
