Alexander Tabalov

Alexander Nikolaevich Tabalov - former people's deputy of Ukraine.
Place of Birth. Education. Born in Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi). In 1979, he graduated from the Kirovograd Institute of Agricultural Engineering (specialization - road machinery and equipment, qualification - engineer-mechanic).
Career. He worked in the regional water management office, in industrial enterprises of the Ministry of Culture.
In 1992, he founded the production association Formula. It includes about two dozen companies in several regions of Ukraine.
Since 2001, he has been the chairman of the board of the joint-stock company 'Kirovograd Bread Factory'.
From December 2012 to November 2014, he was a people's deputy of Ukraine for the Fatherland Party (No. 49 on the electoral list). At the time of the elections, he was an advisor for foreign economic relations of the Chernihiv bread company. Not affiliated with any party. In the early 2000s, he headed the Kirovograd regional organization of the Liberal Party of Ukraine.
After entering parliament, Alexander Tabalov and his son Andrey Tabalov (also a deputy of the Fatherland Party) refused to make a statement about joining the opposition faction Batkivshchyna. The Tabalovs were immediately labeled by the media as the first 'cadavers' of the seventh term of parliament.
On January 16, 2014, he voted for 'dictatorial laws' - a package of anti-democratic laws that significantly restricted citizens' rights and freedom of speech.
Business. Tabalov Senior is a co-owner of the company group Formula Smaku (food industry). In March 2013, Focus magazine estimated his business assets at $44.2 million (ranked 169th in the list of '200 richest people in Ukraine').
