Jelena Tanasewitsch Vitalievna - former head of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.

Place of Birth. Education. Jelena Tanasewitsch was born in 1982 in Kharkiv. She received her first education at the Pavlo Skorik University of Kharkiv and her second at the Law Academy of Ukraine Yaroslav the Wise.

Career. Since 2002, she has worked as a lawyer and then as a judge's assistant.

Since 2012, she has been a judge at the Pechenihy District Court in the Kharkiv region.

In 2018, Tanasewitsch defended her dissertation and obtained a doctorate in law.

On May 7, 2019, Jelena Tanasewitsch was elected the head of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court. 23 of the 38 voters present supported Tanasewitsch's candidacy. Jelena Tanasewitsch will serve as court president for three years.

Jelena's husband Mykhailo Tanasewitsch declared income of about 1 million Hryvnia from entrepreneurial activities.

The family owns three cars: Peugeot 107 (2012), Ssangyong Actyon (2006), and Daewoo Sens (2005).

Family. Jelena is married and raises her son Serafim.

Jelena's sister Olga Malakhova worked from 2012 to 2016 at the Economic Court of the Kharkiv region. She was initially a judge's assistant, then a deputy judge's representative, and the deputy head of the organizational and analytical department.

She speaks fluent English.
