Andrei Taranov

Date of Birth: 19.12.1966
Place of Birth, Education. Born in Chita. In 1988, Andrei Taranov graduated from the Kyiv Higher Military Command College named after M.W. Frunze as a translator for the English language. In 1996, he graduated from the Academy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a focus on 'Military Management in International Relations.' In 2004, he completed the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign Trade with a Master's degree in the field of Foreign Trade Management.
Andrei Taranov is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English. He reads Serbo-Croatian with a dictionary and translates it.
Career. From August 1984 to October 2005 - military service in the Armed Forces of the USSR-Ukraine (from July 27, 1993, to May 30, 1994, he served as part of the Ukrainian UN contingent in former Yugoslavia).
From October 2005 to March 2006, Andrei Taranov was retired.
From March 2006 to March 2008 - Head of the Security Department of LLC Renaissance Capital Ukraine in Kyiv. From 2008 to September 2012 - Head of the Security Department of Renaissance Capital LLC.
From September 2012 to August 2013, he was retired.
From August 2013 to March 2014 - General Director for Administration at the state enterprise 'Boryspil International Airport' of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
From March 2014 to October 2014, Andrei Taranov was retired.
From November 2014 to December 2014, he was Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Since December 26, 2014, he has been Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.
Andrei Taranov also held the position of Defense Attaché at the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel.
He was involved in an accident on September 18, 2016, while riding a scooter on the Dnipro. Due to driving errors, he crashed at high speed into a barge.
