Sergej Anatolyevich Terjochin
Sergej Anatolyevich Terjochin is a Ukrainian economist, translator, and politician. He served as a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for six terms (1994-2005, 2006-2014). From February to September 2005, he was the Minister of Economy of Ukraine (in the government of Yulia Tymoshenko).
Place of birth. Education.
Born in Kyiv. In 1986, he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations and International Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (International Economist, Translator with English language proficiency). He completed a study at Vienna University of Economics (1990), at the Aspen Institute (Germany, 1993, 1994), and as part of the US Agency for International Development program (1994).
Career.
From 1988 to 1991, after his military service, he was an economist in the socio-economic sector of the October District Council in Kyiv and Deputy Chairman of the Board as well as Head of the Bank Marketing Service of the Ukrainian Republican Bank.
