Biography of Yuri Alexandrovich Terentyev

Yuri Alexandrovich Terentyev - former head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
Place of Birth. Education. Born on November 11, 1976, in Dnipro.
In 1998, he graduated from the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Master's degree, specializing in International Law, Translator-Interpreter for English.
In 2000, he graduated from the Faculty of Finance of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Specialist, majoring in Economics.
Career. Between 1995-1997, he worked as a lawyer at DML-Law Consulting Law Firm.
From 1997-2000, he was a lawyer, legal advisor for a foreign investment company U.P.S.A. Medika Ukraine and the representative office of Bristol Myers Squibb International LTD (UK) in Ukraine.
From 2000-2002, he was a legal advisor at the international tobacco company LLC 'Jay Te International Company Ukraine' (Japan Tobacco International Ukraine).
From 2002-2012, he served as legal advisor, head of the legal department, head of the financial control department, head of development coordination department, director for compliance with laws and corporate standards, head of internal audit department, director for compliance with legal and corporate requirements at METRO Ukraine.
From 2012-2015, he was Deputy General Director for Legal Affairs (General Counsel) at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.
On May 19, 2015, the Parliament adopted a decree appointing Yuri Terentyev as head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.
On June 3, 2020, Yuri Terentyev was relieved of his duties as head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine by the Parliament.
Family. Marital status - married, has one son and one daughter.
