Master of Sports of international class.Olympic Games 2004 in Athens - 7th place.
World Championship 2006 - 2nd place.
European Championship 2008 - 1st place.
Bronze medalist of the XXIX Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. In pistol shooting, V. Tereshchuk placed 17th, in fencing and swimming she was fifth, in equestrian 21st, and in the 3000m run, she achieved the second fastest time. Gold went to Lena Schöneborn from Germany. The silver medal was awarded to Britain's Heather Fell.
She missed the 2009 season due to the birth of a child.
In 2011, Viktoria won 2 gold medals at the World Championships in Moscow: gold in individual competition with 5544 points (786-1200-1160-2400).
In May 2013 in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), Viktoria Tereshchuk won the final of the Women’s Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final.
At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, she ranked 23rd.
In 2016, she ended her sports career.
In 2017, the International Olympic Committee informed that Viktoria Tereshchuk had to return the bronze medal she won in the weightlifting competition at the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing due to doping. The banned substance Turinabol was found in the Ukrainian's sample.
