Biography of Pavel Nikolaevich Tkatschuk

Date of Birth: 01.01.1949

Pavel Nikolaevich Tkatschuk - Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (2010-2011). Doctor of Law. Honored Lawyer of Ukraine.

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the village of Pavolochka in the Dsershinsk district of the Zhytomyr region. In 1976, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 1990 - Higher Party School in Kyiv.

Career. He began his professional career as a locksmith, interned as an investigator at the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow District of Kyiv, and was an assistant to the prosecutor of the Kyiv City Traffic Prosecutor's Office.

From 1979 to 1989 he worked in party bodies.

From 1989 to 1992, he taught state and legal sciences at the Higher Party School in Kyiv, Institute of Political Science and Social Management.

From 1992 to 1994 - Head of the Mzenat Company representation in Slovakia.

In 1994, he became the Director of Basan Company.

From 1994 to 1997, he was the First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Georgia.

Until 2002 - Assistant Advisor to the Ukrainian Deputy.

In July 2002, he was appointed by the Ukrainian Parliament as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. He took the oath on September 10, 2002.

On December 22, 2010, he was elected Deputy Chairman of the KSU by his colleagues.

On September 22, 2011, he left the position of judge at the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

Author of numerous scientific papers on constitutional law and state management.

Awards. Awarded with a certificate of honor from the Ukrainian Parliament, the Order of Merit III class. Doctor of Law. Honored Lawyer of Ukraine.
