Biography of Stanislav Marxovich Tolchin

Date of Birth: January 10, 1957

Stanislav Marxovich Tolchin - Chairman of the Kyiv Territorial Department of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (2013-2017), General Director of the state-owned enterprise Makeevugol (2006-2012), former member of the City Council of Makeevka.

Place of Birth. Education. Born in Berdichev, Zhytomyr Oblast, in a family of mining engineers. In 1980, he graduated from the Donetsk Polytechnic Institute (obtained a degree as a mining engineer-electromechanic). Doctor of Technical Sciences.

Career. From November 1980 to July 1989, he worked at the 'Kirovskaya' mine of the production association 'Donetskugol' (Mining Director, Deputy Director, Head of the Extraction Department).

From July 1989 to October 2006 - Director of the concrete prefabricated and construction plant, from 1996 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the JSC 'Zavod ZhBIK'.

From September 2006 to February 2012 - General Director of the state-owned enterprise 'Makeevugol' (Makeevka, Donetsk Oblast).

Repeatedly elected as a member of the City Council of Makeevka.

From April 2013 to February 2017 - Chairman of the Kyiv Territorial Department of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

Awards. Honored holder of the Order 'For Merit' of the III degree, full holder of the badges 'Mining Honor' and 'Mining Valor', two-time holder of the badge 'Best Industrial Leader'.

Personal Life. Tolchin has been married three times. First wife - Eleonora Tolchina. They had a daughter Olga (born 1975). Second wife - Galina Tolchina. In this marriage, daughter Polina was born (born 1980). Polina has three children: Sofia, Benjamin, and Lev. Currently married to Alina Tolchina. In 2011, a son Mark was born.
