Roman Mikhailovich Truba - Prosecutor, former Director of the State Bureau of Investigations.

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the city of Lviv on November 6, 1974. From 1992, he studied at the Law Faculty of Ivan Franko National University in Lviv, majoring in 'Law', which he graduated from in June 1997 and received the degree of 'Lawyer'.

Career. In 1997, Roman Truba began his professional career at the Prosecutor's Office in Lviv.

From April 1997 to May 1998 - Trainee at the vacant position of Deputy Prosecutor of the Franko District in Lviv.

From May 1998 to June 1998 - Deputy Prosecutor of the Franko District in Lviv.

From June 1998 to October 1999 - Investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of the Franko District in Lviv.

On December 3, 2019, the Ukrainian Parliament voted for the resignation of Roman Truba and decided to restart the GBR.

On December 27, 2019, President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed the Director of the State Bureau of Investigations, Roman Truba.

Declaration. According to the declaration for the year 2016, Roman Truba owns two apartments registered in his wife's name (53.5 sqm and 85.80 sqm), a private house (58.2 sqm), two plots of land (2500 sqm and 2523 sqm in the Lviv Region). His son owns a 2007 Toyota Avensis.

Additionally, Roman Truba owns shares in the JSC 'Borshchiv Cheese Factory' and PJSC 'Lviv Tool Factory'.

In 2016, Roman Truba received a salary of 22,000 Hryvnias and had cash assets of 84,000 Hryvnias.

Family. Roman Truba is married. He has three children, two daughters (one from the first marriage) and a son.
