Widowitschenko Sergej

Date of Birth: 30.04.1960

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the village of Wladimirowka in the Volonovka District of Donetsk Oblast. In 1979, he graduated from the Industrial Technical School in Komsomolsk, Donetsk Oblast. From 1981 to 1985, he was a student at the Higher Investigation School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR in Volgograd.

Career. After graduating from the technical school, he worked as a bricklayer in the repair and construction department of the Ilyich Metallurgical Plant in Mariupol. He completed his military service.

From 1985 to 1995, he was an investigator, head of the investigation department, and head of the investigative authority of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Donetsk.

Since 1995, he has worked as a judge at the Petrovsky District Court of Donetsk.

From November 2000 to July 2005, he was a judge and chairman of the Central City District Court of Makeevka in Donetsk Oblast.

In July 2005, he was elected as a judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal.

In May 2008, he was appointed by Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. He took the oath of office on June 3, 2008.

On June 3, 2017, his powers as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine ended.
