Place of Birth. Education. Born in Dnepropetrovsk, graduated from the National University of Physical Culture and Sports and the National Pedagogical University M.P. Dragomanova.

Tatiana Volosozhar began figure skating at the age of five. Her first coach was Viacheslav Tkachenko, her first partner was Petr Kharchenko.
In 2004, she formed a pair with Stanislav Morozov. They became three-time Ukrainian champions and participated in the Olympic Games in Turin. The pair trained in Kyiv under the guidance of Galina Kukhara, with the program developed by Nikolai Morozov.
In the summer of 2008, it was announced that the pair Volosozhar/Morozov would move to Germany to work with coach Ingo Steuer. In the 2008/2009 season, they reached the Grand Prix final for the first time in their career, having placed third at the 'Cup of Russia' and second at the 'Cup of China'. They finished fourth in the final.
At the European Championships, the Ukrainians again placed fourth. At the 2009 World Championships, they finished in 6th place, securing two spots for Ukraine in pairs for the 2010 Olympic Games. In Vancouver, the pair Volosozhar/Morozov placed 8th in the pairs competition. After the Olympics, Tatiana's partner decided to end his professional career, and the figure skater acquired Russian citizenship and will now compete with Maxim Trankov for this country.
At the 2014 Winter Olympics, Tatiana and Maxim became champions in the team event, scoring 83.79 points in the short program (almost 10 points ahead of their nearest rivals), earning 10 points for the team.
On February 11, 2014, the pair won the short program in the individual competition, breaking their own world record by 0.19 points. Olympic champions from Sochi 2014 in pairs skating. On February 12, 2014, the pair won the gold Olympic medal in the individual competition.
In 2018 Tatiana and Maxim announced the end of their sports career.

For Russia in pairs with Maxim Trankov (since the 2010/2011 season):
- two-time Olympic champion 2014 (in individual and team events),
- world champion 2013, two-time silver medalist at world championships (2011, 2012),
- four-time European champion (2012, 2013, 2014, 2016),
- three-time Russian champion (2011, 2013, 2016).
For Ukraine in pairs with Stanislav Morozov:
- fourth Ukrainian champion.
As of January 2017, the pair Volosozhar and Trankov ranked 22nd in the International Skating Union (ISU).
After the end of her sports career, she participates in Ilia Averbukh's Show with Maxim Trankov. She plays the Princess of Verona in the production 'Romeo and Juliet' and the Widow in the show 'Alice in Wonderland'.
Together with Maxim Trankov, she wrote her autobiography 'Two Sides of a Medal' (published in August 2018 by Eksmo) about her journey in sports and the challenges they faced along the way.
In October 2020, Tatiana participated in the seventh season of the show 'Ice Age' on Channel One (Russia). She performed in a duo with actor Evgeniy Pronin.
Marital Status. On August 18, Tatiana and Maxim Trankov became husband and wife. On February 16, 2017, their daughter Angelica was born. On May 27, 2021, their son Theodor was born.
