According to ТСН: The special charity broadcast of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ under the slogan ‘Movement to Life’ has an important mission: to give Ukrainians warmth and inspiration, as well as to raise funds for those who need it the most — our defenders.

The project has united with the Superhumans Center, which specializes in prosthetics and rehabilitation for military personnel and civilians injured during the war. The collected funds are planned to be used for the evacuation of wounded soldiers from the front, so that they can receive treatment as soon as possible.

Participants of the charity broadcast

In a closed Telegram channel of the show, the organizers announced the next trio of celebrity participants who will take to the dance floor in the festive episode.

Yevhen Halich

A veteran, frontman of the band O.Torvald, and senior lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He serves in the 135th separate battalion and participated in the defense of Bakhmut. Awarded the Order of ‘For Courage’ III degree.

‘Wow! This is a very unexpected offer for me! I think the producers, directors, and choreographers have no idea how difficult it will be for them to teach me to dance. It’s a super challenge for me! I will try to be as professional as possible, I will invest all my time and energy because this project has a huge goal — to help Superhumans. This was crucial for me. I wanted to join the project right when I learned about it. I really like my partner — she is incredible: beautiful and professional. I believe we will succeed,’ says Halich.

Nataliia Ostrovska

A journalist and host of TSN, who works on the stories of people changed by war. She has created special projects with military personnel and veterans, documenting the stories of those who experienced occupation and loss of home. Actively involved in charitable initiatives aimed at helping military personnel and their families. A mentor of the charity project 1+1 media ‘Make a Dream Come True’.

‘Dancing is a real challenge for me. It’s an opportunity to discover new boundaries within myself, quite different from hosting the news. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, my team and I have raised significant sums for the military on TSN broadcasts, and I feel proud that people trust us. The charity episode of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ will be another step into this important cause, another way to be useful. On this journey, my dance partner will help me. He amazed my colleagues at TSN and my mother (smiles). I believe the audience will feel our energy, support, and the light we want to bring in such a difficult time,’ shares the host.

Mykyta Dobrynyn

The host of the project ‘Closer to the Stars’ and the hero of ‘The Bachelor-2019’. Actively involved in fundraising for the Armed Forces of Ukraine units where his friends and brother serve. He is an ambassador for the prosthetics and rehabilitation center ‘Titanovyi’ and supports Medical Center Orthotics & Prosthetics Ukraine (MSOR).

‘I am impressed by people who can sing and dance. These are two energies that work psychotherapeutically for a person, when you can express your emotions through movement, through voice. So, of course, I have always wanted to be able to sing well and dance well. If I’m somewhat okay at singing, as I attended vocal classes in childhood, then dancing has never been my strong suit. I remember being taken to the ‘Youth of Bukovyna’ talent school for ballroom dancing. They showed the cha-cha-cha. I looked at it and said, this is definitely not for me. And I left. I didn’t return to dancing. But at my school prom, I danced the waltz twice because there were few boys and many girls, and partners were lacking. So, now participating in ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is a kind of challenge for me. To try my hand, set a new goal, and, of course, help the Superhumans Center,’ says Mykyta.

The special broadcast promises not only entertainment but also an event that will unite hearts and help those who are fighting for their lives right now. For this purpose, the stars are ready to step onto the dance floor, overcoming fears and discovering new sides of themselves.

We remind you that recently ‘Dancing with the Stars’ announced the names of the first participants of the charity broadcast.

This charity episode is an important step in supporting Ukrainian military personnel and victims of the war. In it, the stars will not only entertain viewers but also draw attention to rehabilitation and aid issues, as joint efforts can significantly improve the lives of many Ukrainians experiencing difficult times.
