Tarantino names his best film: No one else could have made it.
One of the most controversial topics in cinema is which film by Quentin Tarantino is the best? The renowned director shared his favorite and revealed which of his creations he considered born to accomplish.
The famous director talked about this on The Church of Tarantino podcast, as reported by The Guardian.
Tarantino's Favorite Films
Tarantino admitted that the 2009 film 'Inglourious Basterds' about World War II is his best work. He also preferred the 2019 film 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'. However, his true goal was the making of 'Kill Bill'.
'But, in my opinion, 'Kill Bill' is the best film that no one else could have made. Every aspect of it is so distinctive, almost as if drawn from my imagination, my tastes, my passion, and my obsession, like fabric with horrifying details.'– admitted Tarantino.
The director also mentioned that he is currently working on a play, which he plans to showcase in London's West End in 2026, after which he will return to work on his last film. He intends to conclude his filmmaking career after the 10th film, as he believes that most contemporary directors create 'pathetic films'.
