Terror of Russia against Ukraine and defense: Zelensky spoke with Starmer.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, called the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, and reported this on Telegram.
They discussed another Russian attack on Ukraine, during which more than 90 missiles and nearly 100 drones were used. Special attention was paid to the issue of defense cooperation.
According to Zelensky, the United Kingdom has repeatedly provided significant financial support to Ukraine and was also ready to cooperate with European leaders to protect the country's interests.
Zelensky also noted that Ukraine is interested in participating in the Joint Expeditionary Force summit in Tallinn, as well as accelerating the preparation of the agreement on a century-long partnership with the United Kingdom.
Earlier, the president expressed thoughts on Ukraine's possible accession to the European Union.
