The Russian Army has increased the number of airstrikes in Chernihiv region.

Shelling of the border regions of Ukraine is becoming an increasingly common occurrence. Sumy region has been particularly affected by aggressive actions on the military front. Unfortunately, Chernihiv region is also not spared from this conflict.
Russian aviation is actively attacking the Chernihiv region, forcing Ukrainian troops to strengthen defensive measures. At the same Time, in Kharkiv region, hostile forces are using various weapons to carry out attacks on target objects, threatening the safety of the local population.
'Moreover, these are the borders of Sumy region, also Kharkiv region, and less – within the borders of Chernihiv region, although shelling here is also daily,' explained the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
'The enemy has become more active in using aviation to strike at the border of Chernihiv region,' he added.
Unstable situation in eastern Ukraine
The situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense, posing a threat to the peaceful population in the border regions. Aggressive actions of the adversary make local residents feel fear and danger, requiring an enhancement of security and defense measures in these areas.
In the conflict zone, unrest prevails; shelling and active aggression lead to an escalation of the situation, thus, special attention must be paid to the protection of the civilian population and strengthening the defensive line of Ukraine's border regions.
