The author and his ex-wife Blythe quietly divorced in 2018, but two years later she made a series of allegations regarding his infidelity, which he denied.

At that time, Blythe claimed that the writer had relationships with his trainer, hairdresser, a woman on their island in the Caribbean, and Dutch horse trainer Judith.

She also stated that he was spending money on gifts for his potential lovers.

In response to this, Dan released a statement noting that he was 'overwhelmed with shock' due to 'false allegations' made by Blythe.

Now, almost five years later, the writer plans to marry Judith, who is 34 years old.

In the acknowledgments of his latest book 'The Mystery of Mysteries', he confirmed their relationship, writing '(thank you) to my fiancée, Judith Pietersen'.

Dan was married to his ex-wife Blythe for 21 years before their contentious divorce.

In 2017, he noted: 'I probably wouldn't have written 'The Da Vinci Code' without her.'

In the acknowledgments of the worldwide bestseller, which earned him millions, he praised his ex-wife as 'undoubtedly the most talented woman I have ever known.'

Blythe reportedly inspired Brown to give up songwriting and teaching English to realize his 'limitless potential as a fiction writer' after their meeting in 1990.

They married in 1997 and lived together in New Hampshire.

However, by 2018, their marital and creative partnership ended in conflict.

This process concluded in 2021, when the former couple reached a 'peaceful' agreement.

Dan is best known for his thrillers, including the Robert Langdon series, which includes 'Angels and Demons' (2000), 'The Da Vinci Code' (2003), 'The Lost Symbols' (2009), 'Inferno' (2013), 'Origin' (2017), and 'The Mystery of Mysteries' (2025).

His novels are known for being gripping tales that typically take place over 24 hours.

Dan Brown's books have sold around the world, with 'The Da Vinci Code' selling over 80 million copies.
