Trump prepares a surprising plan for Ukraine: what the new US administration has in mind.

The US administration is planning to hold an international conference to address the situation in Ukraine, reports The Telegraph.
The conference will take place if Presidents Putin and Zelensky agree to negotiations, as well as the agenda and location of the meeting are agreed upon. Additionally, the behavior of Russia on the international stage will influence the negotiations.
The US is confident that it can play a key role in the negotiations regardless of the format of their initiative. The chair of the conference could be the future Secretary of State Marco Rubio or the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
The Telegraph emphasizes that it is important not to send signals of success regarding Russia's aggression and to prevent undermining NATO. The publication also notes the ineffectiveness of sanctions against Russia, an example being the trade of Russian fish by companies from Denmark and the activities of the 'shadow fleet' of the Russian Federation in energy sales.
