Donald Trump has the youngest press secretary in the history of the United States
The elected president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the appointment of 27-year-old Caroline Levitt as the press secretary of the White House. This appointment will be historic, as Levitt will be the youngest person to hold this position in the history of the United States.
According to Reuters, Caroline earned the trust of the future president by her active defense of his positions during numerous television interviews.
'I am fully confident that she will perform excellently in her duties at the podium and help convey our message to the American people: 'Make America great again,'– said Donald Trump.
It is worth noting that Levitt already has experience working with Trump's team – she joined his 2024 election campaign and served as the chief spokesperson for the newly elected president's transition team.
Prior to this, the youngest press secretary of the White House was Ron Ziegler, who held this position at the age of 29 during Richard Nixon's presidency.
Earlier, Trump appointed the CIA director and the Secretary of Defense.
