Trump accused Biden and Harris of attempting on his life

US presidential candidate Donald Trump claimed that the attempt on his life was made due to words spoken by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. He asserts that the attacker "believed in their rhetoric and acted according to it".

Trump emphasized that he himself wants to save the country, whereas Biden and Harris are the ones who are destroying it. He condemned the comments of Biden and Harris that he is a threat to democracy, calling them "people who want to destroy our country." Trump also called Biden and Harris the "real threat".

Additionally, Trump noted that they use very inflammatory language, unlike himself, though he could also speak that way. Last week, near a golf club, Secret Service agents detained an armed man who was planning an attack on Trump.
