Organizer Error: Two Dart Players Forced to Play Qualification Again.
Two Dart Stars Encounter Administrative Error
According to The Sun: Two renowned dart players must compete in the qualification for the WDF World Championship again, despite having already earned their place due to an administrative error. Mаюі Оuchі and Ніна-Лех Мусіальська have already secured their spots in the first round of the tournament at Lakeside by winning their qualifying matches in Budapest.
Both players had hoped they could calmly prepare for the next stage, but it turned out they needed to compete again.
“We thought everything was settled, and now we have to participate in the qualifiers again,” Ouchі stated.
This situation has caused surprise and discontent among the athletes, who were looking forward to continuing their participation in the competition without additional pressure. It remains unclear how this will affect their preparation for the World Championship.
Thus, misunderstandings in organization can significantly impact the psychological state of athletes and their confidence before an important tournament. We hope that similar situations will be avoided in the future to allow players to focus solely on the game.
