Departure of members from the band Cradle Of Filth

According to The Sun: Two members of the British metal band Cradle Of Filth have left the group during the tour.

Mirek "Ashok" Shmerda and Zoya Marie Federoff noted that the reasons for their departure are "low salary" and "stress".

This occurred after frontman Dani Filth announced that he fired guitarist Shmerda with immediate effect.

He reported on social media that he plans to leave the band at the end of their current tour, stating that "the band cannot secure their future and is actually hindering him".

"Among other reasons, it is a lot of work for relatively low pay, the stress is quite high, and we have not felt for some time that the band actually prioritizes/cares about its members," Shmerda wrote in his statement on social media.

Zoya, Shmerda's wife and the band's keyboardist, also left the group during the tour.

Shmerda noted that he will "complete the tour with strength" without his wife.

He also requested that all of his "compositions" be removed from future releases, including the band's collaboration with Ed Sheeran.

"This song currently seems to me a silly clownish gimmick – it started as a charity song for children, then a profit song, and now who knows, and I just don't want to be more involved, no offense to Ed Sheeran," Shmerda noted.

However, Dani reacted to this by condemning "his attempts to unlawfully defame and derail the band".

"The other band members are fine, even if in shock, and the accusations against the management, which works closely with me and the band, are completely unfounded," he wrote.

In response, Zoya shared another post detailing her financial conditions, noting that the couple "earn [£]150 a day and [£]25K a year" in this band.

"We planned this transition from Cradle of Filth a few months ago. The management is dishonest, manipulative, and tries to take money that belongs to us, without a contract between us as session musicians and him," she commented.

The musician added, "The frontman does nothing to stop them, hiding behind them while they humiliate and steal."

Kelsey Peters will take care of backing vocals and keyboards for the rest of the tour.

The band Cradle of Filth was founded in 1991. Its original members included vocalist Dani Filth, guitarist Paul Ryan, keyboardist Ben Ryan (Paul's brother), bassist John Pritchard, and drummer Darren Gardner.

Some of the band's most famous songs include "Her Ghost in the Fog", "Beneath the Howling Stars", and "Cruelty Brought Thee Orchid".
