About the Show
The program titled KPOPPED will introduce iconic Western artists who will reinterpret their hits in the style of South Korean pop music.
In the show, stars will team up with Korean performers to prepare for a big performance evaluated by an audience from Seoul.
The Sun reported earlier this year that Emma Bunton and Mel B secretly traveled to Seoul in November to take part in a reality show.
The official description reads: “This energetic musical program featuring PSY and Megan Thee Stallion presents exciting collaborations.
“And behind-the-scenes moments of interaction between iconic Western artists and top K-pop idols as they create genre covers of their biggest hits.”
For Spice Girls fans, an interesting detail will be that although PSY and Megan Thee Stallion are the main stars of the show, Mel B and Emma Bunton will also perform in the second episode, reinterpreting their popular singles 'Wannabe' and 'Say You’ll Be There', as reported by Mirror.
Viewers will be able to see behind-the-scenes footage of the Spice Girls preparing for this important performance.
The show will also feature pop princess Kylie Minogue, R&B star Patti LaBelle, and rapper Vanilla Ice.
