According to The Sun: Tyler Perry received court documents in a case where he is accused of sexual assault at his lavish estate in Georgia. The 56-year-old media mogul has signed on in court as a co-defendant with actor Derek Dixon, with whom he worked on the show 'The Oval'.

Perry is accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and assaults, but his team denies these allegations, calling the lawsuit a 'scheme'. According to reports, the documents were served to him on August 25 while he was at home.

Dixon's attorneys also filed documents against other parties, including TPS Production Services, which was also served a copy of the lawsuit.

Before acquiring 856 acres of land in Douglas County in 2013, Perry was not very well known, and few had seen his home. However, drone footage shows that his estate now spans 40,000 square feet on 2,100 acres.

According to the lawsuit, several months after starting work on 'The Oval', Dixon began receiving sexually vulgar messages from Perry, which outraged him. Due to his newness in the industry, he didn't dare to lodge a complaint.

In June 2021, Dixon was again at Perry's home, where more unpleasant moments occurred. He filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in June 2024.

Dixon is now suing Perry and Tyler Perry Studios, seeking compensation for the allegations.

Perry appeared on stage during the BET Awards 2025, but has not been seen publicly since.
