Nearly 200 bombs found under the playground in Britain.
176 World War II bombs found under the playground in Wulery
In the British town of Wulery, 176 World War II bombs were found under the playground. This information was published by the Daily Mail.
According to media reports, the bombs were discovered by workers conducting a renovation of the playground. The police were called to the scene and established a blockade zone with a radius of 50 meters. Sappers and experts also arrived for further investigation. Experts confirmed that the found devices are training bombs that still contain explosive materials. The munitions were removed for safe disposal. According to local authorities, the area where the playground is located was once used as a training ground.
I never thought I would have to deal with bomb disposal. It's really strange that children were playing in an area with bombs, and it was truly a complex situation.
Work continues to clear the area, and specialists do not rule out the possibility of finding other munitions, including grenades and cartridges. 'We have only cleared a third of the entire park, and we may find another pit with more bombs. This was truly a complex situation,' added Mark Mater, advisor to the representative of the Conservative Party.
It is worth noting that during construction work in Dresden, Germany, a 250 kg aerial bomb was found.
