In the center of Oslo (Norway), a tram derailed and crashed into an electronics store that sells Apple products. This was reported by the media in Norway.
According to the police, four people were injured in the accident, including the tram driver. All the injured sustained minor injuries and were hospitalized.
The tram was pulled out within two hours, and traffic on this section was temporarily blocked to ensure that the building did not suffer serious damage and would not collapse.
The causes of the accident are still unknown. The Oslo police have launched an investigation, and the driver has already been recognized as a suspect.
«Key for further investigation are, among other things, interrogation, obtaining and reviewing video materials, as well as technical studies», law enforcement officials stated.
According to the head of the investigation, emergency services quickly arrived at the scene. There were many people on the tram, but they evacuated themselves.
Rescuers were already hoping to find victims under the tram, but fortunately, no one was under it. All the injured sustained minor injuries.
Earlier in Mexico, a bus went off the road, and 24 people were killed.
