In Chornomorsk, Odesa region, a Russian drone attack resulted in apartments in a residential building catching fire. This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper.
According to him, from midnight until dawn, over a period of four hours, Russian aggressors used drones to terrorize the Odesa region.
The military destroyed most of the Shahed-type drones. There are no reports of casualties or injuries.
The attack led to a fire in apartments on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of the building. The fire, covering an area of 100 square meters, was quickly extinguished, noted Kiper.
Additionally, the ceilings and walls of an administrative-production building in Odesa district were damaged. The fire, covering an area of 50 square meters, was extinguished.
Furthermore, another drone fell on an open area without detonation, mentioned Kiper.
Earlier, at the beginning of October, there were also Russian drone attacks in the Izmail district. This was reported by Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration. The targets of the attacks were port and border infrastructure. As a result, two men were injured. "One of them is a Turkish citizen. The condition of the injured is of moderate severity," he said.
