The event organizers began accepting books for city libraries back in June, which expanded the selection of titles for exchange. Sixteen booths with books were presented on the square, including rare editions. To ensure the availability of the necessary books, the booths were opened gradually, and the largest line was at the booth with modern foreign literature.

It is also worth mentioning that a day before this event, a rally took place in Lviv in support of the captured and missing Ukrainian soldiers. Residents took to the streets to remind about Ukrainians held captive by Russian occupiers.
