The Ministry of Energy has revealed Russia's new tactics before shelling the energy system.

Deputy Head of the Ministry of Energy Roman Andarak reported that Russian aggressors are using powerful cyberattacks on the energy sector before a massive shelling of Ukraine's energy system. He noted that these attacks occur one or two days before the shelling. He disclosed this during an online speech at the Energy Security Dialogue-2024 in Kyiv.
Two days before massive shelling, a major cyberattack is carried out on many energy sector facilities. Then we know that a shelling will occur in one or two days,' he said during an online speech at the Energy Security Dialogue-2024 by DiXi Group in Kyiv, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
Roman Andarak also noted that Russia actively uses disinformation and information-psychological manipulation to spread panic among the population and propaganda regarding the state of energy.
