A bus from Kyiv to Chisinau has overturned in Moldova: there are casualties.


A bus from Kyiv to Chisinau was involved in an accident in Moldova
At around five o'clock in the morning on February 15, the Kyiv-Chisinau bus was involved in an accident in Moldova. As a result of the accident, 16 people were injured. The Moldovan police reported this.
The accident occurred on the R-14 highway in the Florești district near the village of Chiripkău.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the bus, which was carrying 68 passengers on the Kyiv-Chisinau route, was unable to control the vehicle on the slippery road. The bus overturned and crashed into a tree.
As a result of the accident, 16 people sustained injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized in hospitals in Florești and Soroca. The 35-year-old driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
The remaining passengers were unharmed and were safely accommodated in the local police inspectorate. An investigation into the causes of the accident is underway.
The bus was carrying citizens of Ukraine, Turkey, and Moldova. Among the injured is a woman from Vinnytsia.
Earlier, on January 25, a scheduled bus traveling from Kyiv to Chisinau was involved in an accident near the village of Peresichine in the Orhei district.
At that Time, two passengers - a man and a woman - were injured.
