In Vinnytsia, the Ukrainian Championship in Rapid and Blitz Chess among Club Teams has begun.

In Vinnytsia, the Ukrainian Championship in Rapid and Blitz Chess among club teams has started. The competition will gather representatives from 23 teams from different regions of the country. The event is held at the Vinnytsia City Children's and Youth Sports School #6.
“It is a great honor for our city to host this prestigious competition, and we are proud that Vinnytsia has become a place where the best chess talents from all over the country can showcase their abilities,” the organizers of the event stated.
The head of the judging panel, Oleg Tovchiga, emphasized that teams from various regions of Ukraine are participating in the competition. Among them are strong teams from Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro, which are leading chess centers in the country. Ambitious teams from Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa, Chernivtsi, Kharkiv region, as well as teams from Vinnytsia, have also joined the competition. In particular, it is worth noting the women's team "Beauties," which consists of talented female chess players from different regions of Ukraine.
"The battle promises to be intense and unpredictable, as despite the presence of ranking favorites, each team has its own ambitions and aspirations for victory. It is gratifying to note that many strong male and female players, including grandmasters and masters, are participating in this championship. It is also pleasing that among the participants are many young athletes who dream of becoming future grandmasters and conquering new chess heights," said Inna Zagrai, the chief specialist of the committee for physical culture and sports of the Vinnytsia City Council.
The organizers have done everything possible to ensure comfortable conditions for the participants and make the championship unforgettable for all athletes, coaches, and guests. The competition will run until October 6.
