Strike by the Russian Federation on the ferry terminal in the Odesa region: Zelensky addressed the allies.
On the night of October 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported a strike by Russian occupiers on a ferry terminal in the Odesa region. According to him, the strike occurred near the border with Romania, in the Izmail district. Zelensky stated that this strike was targeted against civilian infrastructure, such as the ferry terminal, trucks, and a grain warehouse. The president called on allies to help Ukraine in intercepting Russian UAVs and missiles.
Zelensky noted that in the Middle East, an international coalition is acting together to counter Iran's criminal strikes. He thanked Romania for its support of Ukraine and expressed hope for further cooperation in intercepting Shaheds and missiles. Earlier, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported that Russian occupiers attacked the port and border infrastructure of the Izmail district of the Odesa region with strike drones.
An air raid alert was also observed in the border territory of Romania due to the attack of Russian drones in the south of the Odesa region.
