UFC will pay a bonus to the fighter after an emotional speech: what happened.
The post-fight emotion of Chris Padilla
According to The Sun: The UFC lightweight Chris Padilla couldn't hold back tears after losing the chance to receive a life-changing bonus. The 30-year-old fighter extended his winning streak to seven fights, securing a knockout victory in the second round against Ismael Bonfim during UFC Fight Night 111 that took place in the morning.
Especially emotional, Padilla addressed Paul Felder during the post-fight interview, pleading with the UFC...
“I just can’t believe that I lost this opportunity,” said Padilla.
Although he achieved a convincing victory, the disappointment of missing out on the bonus left a bitter taste in his emotional reaction.
The loss of the opportunity to win the bonus was a serious test for Padilla, as his emotional reaction showed how much the sport and the chance for recognition mean to him. Currently, having gathered six consecutive victories, he will continue training and striving for new achievements in the UFC, hoping that next time he will be able to secure the coveted bonus.
