Ukraine will import more electricity: CEO of Yasno cheered Ukrainians.

Increased electricity import limit to Ukraine
From December 1 this year, the import capacity limit will be 2100 MW. This means that Ukraine will be able to import more electricity to provide Ukrainians with light in winter. This was reported by the CEO of Yasno, Serhiy Kovalenko.
«Ukrenergo» and the operators of the continental European electricity transmission system have been working on this since June and achieved such a great result of +400 MW», he said.
It should be noted that the government, regional military administrations, and community authorities are working synchronously in three key directions to ensure that all homes have light and heat in winter. This includes preparing infrastructure, accumulating resources, and creating decentralized generation.
It is worth noting that government officials state that there will be no energy supply issues in Ukraine until the end of October and in November. They also express hope that this winter will also pass almost without outages, as was the case last year.
Incidentally, on October 9, 11 days earlier than planned, NNEGC «Energoatom» brought another power unit of one of the NPPs out of scheduled preventive maintenance – the unit is now gaining power. «Energoatom» reported that currently all nine power units operating on the territory controlled by Ukraine are ready for operation in the autumn-winter period.
As reported, Ukraine's energy system enters the winter season «with the highest possible level of readiness», as the planned repairs at Ukraine's power plants were completed on Time.
Furthermore, the European Commission is working to increase the maximum volume of electricity supply to Ukraine. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, G7 countries and other partners have raised over $4 billion to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
