Ukraine won 23 medals at the European Weightlifting Championship: details of success.
According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian team added two medals at the European Weightlifting Championship U20 & U23 held in Albania. Iryna Dombrovska competed in the 77 kg weight category among youth under 23 years, winning gold in the snatch with a result of 108 kg, 4th place in the clean and jerk (122 kg), and silver in the total (230 kg).
Successes in European competitions
At the European Youth Olympic Festival, Ukraine took 10th place in the overall medal standings, making it into the top 10. The Ukrainian team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, which is the second best result in the history of Ukraine's participation in such festivals since 1993.
