Ukrainians were shown potato prices in supermarkets and markets: where it's more expensive.


Potato prices in supermarkets and markets can vary depending on the season, harvest, and economic situation. In general, market prices are usually slightly lower than in supermarkets, but the difference is not always significant. Below are the prices as of September 14.
Supermarkets
On average, supermarkets offer 20.17 UAH per kilogram of potatoes. However, it is necessary to consider that the cost differs in different retail chains. If in Ashan it is sold for 16.90 UAH/kg, then in MegaMarket you will have to pay 22.90 UAH/kg. Young potatoes are more expensive – 31.90 UAH/kg. There are also pink ones priced at 20.00 UAH/kg.
Capital Market
At the Kyiv market, you can buy Ukrainian potatoes at a price of 16.00 UAH/kg to 18.00 UAH/kg.
Odesa Market "Pochatok"
But at the Odesa market, the price is only for old potatoes, which are sold for 18.00-20.00 UAH/kg. However, this is the wholesale price. The maximum reaches 30.00 UAH/kg.
