Ukrainian Yura Romanyuk became the face of the new Zara campaign: how it happened.
Ukrainian model Yura Romanyuk has become the main character of the new Zara brand campaign. He appears in a series of images reminiscent of modern gothic poetry. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to photographer Silvestro Mako.
Modern Gothic in Fashion
According to inkorr.com: The new collection harmoniously combines reality and an imagined world. Semi-transparent fabrics, lace, velvet, and black denim create a mystical atmosphere where each image resembles a painting with a hidden meaning. Photographer Silvestro Mako, known for his love of the Renaissance era, achieved an impressive contrast between romanticism and daring, transparency and weight, calm and tension.
Path to Success
Yura Romanyuk, originally from Kherson, showed an interest in various forms of art from an early age. After emigrating to the Netherlands, he successfully integrated into the fashion world and stood out at the Miu Miu spring-summer 2023 collection show in Paris. Since then, he has collaborated with many prominent figures in the fashion industry.
As the face of the new Zara campaign, Yura Romanyuk inspires to experiment with images, combining reality with fantasy. His biography and path to success once again confirm that young Ukrainians can realize their dreams and gain recognition on the international stage.
