According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian weightlifter Yuliia Kovalova impressed everyone at the European Championship (U23). She won a bronze medal in the snatch, lifting 83 kg, and also placed 6th in the clean and jerk with a result of 102 kg. In the total, combining the weights lifted, Yuliia again earned bronze, totaling 185 kg.
Achievements of the Ukrainian team at the Youth Olympic Festival
The Ukrainian team did not remain on the sidelines at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing in 10th place in the overall medal standings. The team won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals, which marked the second most successful performance of Ukraine in the history of these competitions. The largest number of awards was obtained in 2019, when the team received 25 medals in various sports such as judo, swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
