Ukrainian Wins International Squash Tournament: How She Did It.
According to inkorr.com: Viktoria Syvoplayas, a Ukrainian athlete, became the champion of the Romanian Junior Open 2025 squash tournament, which took place over three days at the Infinity Sport Arena in Bucharest.
The competition featured eight age categories and included over 60 young players, among whom were 6 Ukrainians. Viktoria performed the best, achieving victory in the BU15 category.
The best tournament distance was conquered by Viktoria Syvoplayas, who emerged victorious in the BU15 category!
Additionally, Ukraine showed good results at the European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing 10th in the medal standings. Athletes from our country won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Successes at the World Summer Universiade
At the World Summer Universiade in Germany, the Ukrainian team showed a respectable performance, finishing 14th in the overall medal standings with 12 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze. Among the winners was Mykola Rushchak from Sumy, who won bronze in the 20-kilometer race walk.
The successes of Ukrainian athletes in various competitions confirm their hard work and high level of preparation.
