The Ukrainian national basketball team achieved a key victory: match result against Slovakia.
According to inkorr.com: Yesterday at the women's NCAA tournament, we witnessed the performance of three Ukrainian basketball players. The LSU Tigers confidently defeated Georgia Southern with a score of 118:70. Kateryna Koval spent 22 minutes on the court, scoring 12 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.
Louisville also stood out, defeating Northern Kentucky Norse with a score of 89:61, where Yevheniya Putra impressed with her gameplay. Ohio State won against Coppin State with a score of 88:59, and Daria Biryuk contributed by scoring 2 points and making 2 rebounds.
Pre-qualification for the 2027 World Championship. Men
In the final round of the pre-qualification, the Ukrainian team celebrated victory over Slovakia, winning with a score of 98:86.
In previous matches, the Ukrainian basketball players suffered a defeat against Switzerland but were able to rectify the situation by winning in subsequent encounters. Notable performances came from Kovlyar, Tkachenko, Lypovyy, Voynalovych, Kravtsov, Sanon, Kovalov, Tyrtyshnyk, Bobrov, and Novytskyi.
