According to inkorr.com: At the continental championship for athletes under 23, held in Chișinău, Ukrainian judokas won two medals. Olha Tsimko won a 'silver' in the under 70 kg weight category, and the Ukrainian team also received a bronze award in the mixed team tournament. Our athletes demonstrated confidence and talent, winning prestigious awards at this competition.
Olha Tsimko won 'silver' in the under 70 kg weight class: her opponent from Sweden proved to be stronger in the final match. For Olha, this is her first award at a continental championship among youth!
Impressions from the European Youth Olympic Festival
At the European Youth Olympic Festival, our country also achieved significant success, ranking 10th in the overall medal standings. Judo was the most successful sport for Ukraine, but there were awards in other disciplines as well — swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, gymnastics, and table tennis.
