Ukrainian ski jumper disqualified for 2 years: reason.
According to inkorr.com: The National Anti-Doping Center of Ukraine has decided to suspend Ukrainian ski jumper Tetiana Pylypchuk from competitions for two years due to a positive doping test result. Her sample contained a prohibited substance - furosemide. This substance can mask the use of other illegal drugs. The disqualification of the 21-year-old athlete began on September 17, 2025, and will last until September 16, 2027. This punishment will have serious consequences for Pylypchuk's career, as she will miss the entire upcoming ski season and lose her chances of participating in the 2026 Olympics.
Previously, Tetiana Pylypchuk was an active member of the national team and took 15th place at the Continental Cup in 2021. Russian speed skater Oleksandra Saiutina, who is under the status of a neutral athlete, was present at the annual message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly.
Thus, Tetiana Pylypchuk has been disqualified for two years due to a positive doping test for furosemide. This decision will significantly impact her sports career, as the athlete will not be able to participate in important upcoming competitions, including the Olympic Games.
