Expanded Food Choices for Passengers

According to Novyny.live: Ukrzaliznytsia has broadened the range of items passengers can purchase on trains, offering a more diverse dining experience during journeys. Travelers can now pre-order signature coffee drinks when booking tickets, and choose from new selections that include:

  • healthy sweets
  • porridge
  • noodles
  • soups
  • smoothies for children

Additionally, the children's menu now features fruit pastilles and fruit strips, making meals on the go both more enjoyable and nutritious.

Updated Ticketing Rules and Safety Measures

The railway operator has also introduced new ticketing regulations. Specifically, tickets for trains 66/779 Kyiv—Sumy and 776/775 Kyiv—Sumy—Kyiv go on sale just five days before departure. This change aims to simplify the booking process for travelers. It is important to note that alcohol consumption remains banned on trains, and passengers can request drinking water or hot water during the trip.

Among the new safety protocols implemented by Ukrzaliznytsia are a prohibition on crowding and measures to ensure rapid evacuation in emergencies. These initiatives are designed to enhance both comfort and security for all passengers.

The expanded menu and improved ticketing rules reflect Ukrzaliznytsia’s commitment to better service and an overall improved travel experience. Ukrzaliznytsia

The updated safety measures also demonstrate the company’s dedication to passenger comfort and protection during travel, which could boost traveler confidence in choosing rail transport. This, in turn, may lead to higher passenger numbers and strengthen Ukrzaliznytsia’s position in the transportation market.
