Gorbunov is a prominent figure in Ukrainian entertainment, while Boklan is a respected actor in film and theater. The pair first met on the set of a music video directed by Semen Gorov.

A 30-Year Bond

In an interview, Gorbunov explained that his acquaintance with Boklan began almost thirty years ago, shortly after moving from Ivano-Frankivsk to Kyiv. Before that relocation, Gorbunov had spent five years performing at the Ivano-Frankivsk Theater after graduating from institute. He noted that despite rumors of Boklan having a "difficult personality," such traits are common among creative individuals.

The meeting happened when director Semen Gorov invited Gorbunov to participate in a music video shoot. Recalling those early days, Gorbunov said:

“Stas and I have known each other for almost 30 years. We met back when I first moved to Kyiv.”
