Prices for nearly 300 medicines will decrease in pharmacies of Ukraine.
The Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko announced a reduction in prices for medical drugs
The Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko reported that prices for 273 medical drugs from 26 manufacturers will be lowered. Manufacturers have already changed or are changing the wholesale price for these drugs.
'We have a list of 273 medical drugs from 26 manufacturers, which have also already changed or are changing the wholesale price by an average of about 16%. Of these, 97 drugs are in our National List, 90 prescription drugs, and 86 over-the-counter drugs,' stated the head of the Ministry of Health.
This price reduction concerns the medical drugs that Ukrainians most often buy in pharmacies. The decrease amounts to 30% and will be noticeable for Ukrainian patients.
The list of medicines that have become cheaper from March 1, 2025, includes the Top 100 popular drugs. They are produced by Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies, for which Ukrainians spent the most money. The introduction of discounts on these drugs is part of the initiative for price reduction and stabilization in Ukraine's pharmaceutical sector.
