According to ТСН: Christmas tree fairs have started in Ukraine, where legal Christmas trees can be purchased for the holidays. The fairs have already opened in Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Cherkasy, and prices for the trees range from 100 to over 8000 UAH.

Prices for trees in Kyiv

In Kyiv, the Christmas tree fairs started on December 3. According to information from the public page 'Real Kyiv', prices for Christmas trees vary: from 250 UAH for a 50-centimeter tree to 450 UAH for a one-meter tree. A regular Carpathian fir tree over one meter costs 500 UAH. Imported trees start at 2500 UAH, with some offers for 7500 UAH.

Prices for trees in Lviv

At one of the Lviv fairs, the average price for a tree made from branches is 1200 UAH, while smaller options are priced at 800 UAH. Small sets of trees can be purchased for 100 UAH, according to the Telegram channel 'Trukha Lviv'. Nordmann firs of large height cost 4000 UAH, and Ukrainian trees of the same size cost 3900 UAH. Trees in pots are also offered at prices ranging from 2800 to 3000 UAH.

Prices for trees in Odesa

In Odesa, as noted in a video on the Telegram channel 'Odesa region / Odesa', a two-meter tree costs 5800 UAH — these are trees from Austria and Denmark. Taller trees are sold for 8100 UAH, while prices for trees measuring 1.25-1.5 m stand at 3800 UAH.

Prices for trees in Cherkasy

In Cherkasy, prices for coniferous trees this year start from 300 UAH. The director of KP 'Cherkasy Markets' Taras Kybala noted that the cost of a tree depends on its height, species, and method of cultivation. The most expensive tree can cost up to 50 thousand UAH if it is a large decorative tree in a pot. Trees are brought from the Poltava region, western Ukraine, and part of the imported Nordmanns is from Denmark.

Additionally, it is worth noting that in Dnipro, they plan to set up a 5-meter artificial Christmas tree with decorations and LED structures, despite financial and security challenges. At the same time, in Ternopil this year, they refused to install a New Year's tree in the center due to tragic events that occurred on November 19.
