The Nasams Air Defense System from Canada Arrives in Ukraine.
Canada has transferred the Nasams air defense system to Ukraine
Canada has ordered the Nasams air defense system from the United States and transferred it to Ukraine, announced Canadian Defence Minister Bill Blair. He noted that the Nasams systems, which Ottawa spent nearly 300 million dollars on, have already been delivered to Ukraine. For security reasons, Blair was unable to provide more information about this, but he emphasized that this supply will be significant as it will allow Ukraine to protect its communities.
Other defense systems that Ukraine is receiving
In addition to the Nasams system, Ukraine will receive other air defense systems. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz confirmed that Ukraine will receive the sixth planned Iris-T air defense system by the end of 2024. Operational interference from Russia, the conflict in the Middle East, and the mission to protect vessels in the Red Sea have led to a rapid decrease in missile stocks for air defense systems in the USA.
Missile exchange between Russia and North Korea
It is worth noting that Russia has transferred missiles for air defense systems to North Korea. This exchange occurred amid military cooperation between the two countries.
