Viacheslav Dovzhenko on lost money in a new building: what happened to his apartment

According to ТСН: Ukrainian actor Viacheslav Dovzhenko shared the story of his unsuccessful investment in a new building that led to troubles.

Problems with the new building

The artist planned to move to a new apartment in a residential complex that was still under construction. However, the situation turned out to be more complicated than he expected. Viacheslav Dovzhenko mentioned in an interview that the house is almost ready, but still requires commissioning. At this stage, everything has stopped.

'This residential complex is standing still, just as it was. But we believe in the better. The house is already practically ready. Essentially, it needs to be put into operation and accounted for. That is, as I understand it, these are corrupt-bureaucratic-legal processes.'

Waiting for a solution to the problem

Viacheslav also reported that the developers organized rallies, but this did not bring any results. Despite this, the actor hopes that he will be able to move into his new apartment and that the issue of unfinished buildings will be resolved.

'I know that the developers rallied under the Kyiv City State Administration, but judging by what is happening in our politics, looking at all the corruption scandals that are now in everyone's ears, you understand that the issue of your housing is quite far from consideration. I believe that the time will come when someone resolute will say: 'Let's finally finish this.' And I'm not the only one. The issue of unfinished buildings is very painful in society. And not just Kyiv suffers from this. Unfortunately, every city has these unfinished buildings standing as monuments to the unfinished.'

Let us remind you that recently, artist Anna Salivanchuk also talked about how she bought an apartment in Kyiv at 23 years old, facing similar problems.

The problems of the new building directors are becoming relevant for many Ukrainians who hope for quality housing. The issues of corruption and bureaucracy in this field require urgent solutions, as the situation with unfinished buildings concerns not only individuals but society as a whole. We hope that these issues will soon move from a standstill, and investors will receive their long-awaited apartments.
