Five empty wagons of a freight train derailed at the Menovoy Dvor station in the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation. Information about this is published on the Telegram channel of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on the evening of August 15. There are no casualties or train delays as a result of the incident. Currently, restoration work is underway at this site.

According to the Telegram channel Mash, six wagons were damaged. They crashed into warehouses located near the railway tracks. The channel writes that everything happened due to a narrow passage. The driver miscalculated the dimensions, which led to the accident.

Currently, a restoration train is coming from Orenburg.

It is reported that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is investigating a case of violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport. As reasons for the derailment of the wagons, the investigation is considering two versions. The first is related to the condition of the railway track, the second - with problems with the running gear of the freight train.

Recall that on July 29, several wagons of the Kazan - Adler passenger train derailed near Volgograd. This is reported by Russian media.

Earlier, nine wagons of a passenger train derailed on the Inta-1 - Ugolny section in the Komi Republic.

By the way, partisans managed to carry out a successful operation on the Trans-Siberian Railway near Yekaterinburg.
