Abnormally warm weather in Ukraine in the first days of 2025

According to meteorologist Natalia Didenko, abnormally warm weather is expected in Ukraine at the beginning of 2025, characteristic of early spring. On January 1, the daytime air temperature will be from +5 to +9 degrees in most parts of the country, and in the south - up to +9...+12 degrees.

On January 2, the temperature will rise to +9...+14 degrees. However, no precipitation is expected, but the forecaster warns of strengthening western winds with gusts of 15-20 meters per second, requiring extra caution for drivers and pedestrians.

'The meteorological situation will undergo sharp changes on January 3-4, when a frost cold snap will come to the territory of Ukraine. Despite the temporary spring warming, do not forget about the calendar winter,' warns Natalia Didenko.

In Kyiv, on January 1, moderately warm weather is forecasted: at night, the temperature will be +1...+3 degrees, during the day it will rise to +5...+7 degrees. Strong wind gusts of 15-20 meters per second are also expected.
